I'm bi and poly. I do not know why I'm supposed to select only one person to love at the same time. Otherwise, I'd only be able to have one child, one parent, one best friend... You look like you're working with more than one person at a time. Cheater!
I have a legal husband and a common law wife. I am still free to meet and date anyone I like, with my husband having full VETO. (I wish he's use it more often. My taste is sometimes questionable, esp. when my hormones get in the way...) My wife's daughter and mine are sisters by choice.
How did the normal human desire to love and be loved get perverted into monoamoury? Yes, Xians have certianly been the prime instigators, but most of the rest of the world has never fully integrated that belief, even when Xianitzed. Poly arrangements are still viable in most mature cultures around the world in varying forms.
And no, bi's are not fence sitters, anymore than someone who likes both chocolate and vanilla are fence sitters. I like the colour green, and black, and I'm not fond of orange. Am I supposed to pick only one at a time, and then defend why I like it? I just do, and always have...

Christianity and the bible is the only thing saying it's wrong- they have shaped our societies beliefs for thousands of years. Watch the history of sex on Discovery channel- you will be surprised by what was considered "normal" prior to christianity. It is a shame we are all robots and conform to society, but it does make things easier. Good luck.

I don't date bisexuals because I believe that it is wrong and I would not put up with it.
