I have done the same thing. I never get them either but since being pregnant I have gotten a lot. I have even gotten a few while throwing up. One I got so bad I actually fainted and hit the floor. It was so weird it scared me. Dr said it is common in pregnancy because of the excess blood you gain and your vessels thin or something like that. Just don't blow your nose too hard b/c that is what can cause them. If you are worried, have your Dr check your blood sugar and check for anemia. Mine did but all was well. I am 33 weeks and haven't gotten one for a month or so. Just earlier on in my pregnancy. Good luck

Very common and completely normal! I get them a lot too! Unfortunately I get them while driving or in the middle of the night....why can't you get them when you're wearing old clothes and sitting with a box of tissues!? That never happens! :)

Good luck!

Remember that it is winter time right now and the air is dry. Go to Wal-Mart and pick up a small humidifier and keep it running in your bedroom. If that doesn't help after a couple days, contact your doctor.

I think the answers you have here all sound feasible although Inever had this trouble when I was expecting.

If in doubt darling speak to your GP/Midwife I'm sure you'll be fine

Congrats and good luck ;-)

Yes, it's quite normal (unfortunately). I have had regular nose bleeds with both my pregnancies, and I normally never have them.

Yes this is common. Keep your nose lubricated with saline solution.

Yes I got them too they lasted all the way through both my pregnancies. It's due to an increase in blood flow in your body.

If your OB/GYN is not already doing it, have him monitor your blood pressure, the nose bleeds might be an indication that it is high.

I think sometimes it can be from elevated blood pressure, I have no clue though other than call the doc...really, we don't know here and it just takes dialing his or her number...good luck!!!
