I'd go below the knee and make them a sort of capri thing... plus, obviously, if you cut them above the knee straightaway, you can't change your mind, whereas if you cut them below you can always cut of a bit more. Try cutting them on the long side, and then pinning them up to see what length looks best.

I suggest below the knee. Knees are wrinkly things in tight clothes. If you don't like the look, you can always cut more.
GOod luck.

I'd go just above the knee, and wash them a couple of times so they get the frayed edges. I've seen more and more people starting to wearing them like that. Do you think that is going to be the new style for summer?

That depends entirely on you. Do you have other short pants to help you make the decision? go try some on and see wht looks best. I have heard on Oprah that no one really looks good in capri length because it makes you look shorter but, I love the coolness in summer and will always wear them. So sorry to not be as fashionable as those Hollywood girls but I like the look. So, try that and then decide.

i say below the knee for sure. all you really need to use is scissors, make it go a little more than half way from your knee and ankle. it will look really cutr and still fit right.
