There are millions of people out there and "feeling alone". Stop feeling sorry for yourself because its only going to make the holiday that much worse. If you have absolutely no one why don't you do something for yourself on Valentines Day since there is no one else to do so for you... Or grab a friend who is in the same boat as you and has no one on this over rated holiday that in all actuality just encourages Americans and others to just spend more on others, when in reality it means more if it were to be just another random a$$ day. Why should you buy gifts for someone just on a designated day.
This all comes from someone in a very serious long term relationship.

It's valentine by the way, and yes it is a teenage thing. I am lonely too. My sweetie, is far away in a different state.
