When a man loves a woman, don't worry, be happy, 'cause she's got the look. Its like the flame comin' down on a sunny day. But how can I get you alone in a yellow submarine when its truly, madly, deeply immersed in a milkshake on the london bridge?

Yes; an ex of mine when he was out of the country for half a year and I thought he wouldn't come back.
Now I miss him like a hole in the head.
Actually there's someone else I miss like the deserts miss the rain. Someone I've met years ago and became good friends with, then he left and I haven't seen him since, don't know where he is now and know I'll probably never see him again.
Don't know if I need him as much as deserts need rain, but I want to see him again badly and it'll never happen.
Then again it's probably my fault for never looking him up...

Why would the desert miss the rain? If the rain came , it would not be desert anymore. It would be faced with an identity conflict. Just my dry sense of humor. Sorry to be spouting off. If the rain did come, there would be only one thing to do, dam it.

I’m not too sure that the desert actually misses the rain that much. It has lived so long without rain, that it has learned to thrive in it’s own harsh way.
I have definitely missed people like that…stayed away so long that I no longer need them in my life. That is my own harsh way.

Yes! I had to move 4 states away from my grandma and friends who I am very close to. It has been almost a year and I miss them more everyday. Moving stinks.

You mean...... knowing you want something that you've rarely experienced? You know it's out there..... but it is so out of your grasp? It's tempted you so many times, but you know it is hopeless. So you dream and dream of a miracle. You thirst for it...... hunger for it...... can't breathe without it. But like the rain in the desert.......... he never appears.
Yes.... I've missed someone..... just.... like... that. *sigh*

Yes, he's always two steps ahead of everyone. Now he's long gone and I can't move on. And I miss him.
