My husband and I have a bet ...He says that the Beastie Boys song "you have the right to fight..." is a knock off on a Twisted Sister song...I told him he was wrong ...so we made the bet. I can't seem to find anything on the subject so i thought i would ask you guys since you have such great answers!!

well you could look at it as "fight for your right" is a sort of "screw you" anthem....much like "we're not gonna take it"

other than that, i am not aware of any other knock offs or similarities that your husband may be speaking of
