When I put my memory stick into my pc it freezes and I have to reboot the pc. This also happens with one friend's memory stick but not with another! Why? How can I get it to work?

I am using Windows XP pro so it cannot be the OS.
The USB device works on my laptop with the same OS!

May be you are using a old operating system or the memory stick is of low quality.

usb device always hangup pc,
a) try reduce your usb items
b) do not use the USB memory stick which have problem
c) update yr PC version
d) different brand have different setup
e) if the USB M stick have software ( U3) format or delete it.
