People seem to concentrate on the towers tragedy. Let's not forget the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania. Seems when I read questions on Yahoo, those two parts of the tragedy are lost in the background.

those are in the back of people's minds, but probably due to the high numbers of civilians killed the world trade center will be high on people's mind for a long time

truthfully, one of the major path trains to Manhallten comes out at the world trade center and hundreds of thousadns of people see the work site going to and from work and even at work looking out the window and hundreds of thousands of people in lower Manhatten are reminded every day about it... they wont forget for a long long long time

of course flight 93 and the Pentagon situation will not be forgotten either... not in my or your lifetime

Note to "Harlygirl", the term "Ground Zero" was always used for Hiroshima, where some terrorists killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people in 1945. The term was hijacked for the "WTC", since.

all three are terrible tragedies but the towers were more spectacular which made it stand out more and easier to remember. I hope Americans never forget all three.

When will they stop talking about it? NEVER.

and that's as it SHOULD be. THOUSANDS of innocents (at all THREE incident locations) were wiped out that morning, for the "crime" of GOING TO WORK.

Are we supposed to just shrug and say "oh well"? The ENTIRE disaster was just that - a disaster. No particular set of victims is more "important" - it's just the SCOPE of what happened in New York was so much larger.

I hope you get to go to Ground Zero someday (as I have). Then you'll get it.
