Well if you want to split hair's The only place i've heard SUPERCALIFLAGELISTICEXPIALLIDO... it is coming out of my own mouth as I read your post. If you're refering to the other similar word Supercalifragilistic expialidocious! (IPA pronunciation: [Ësu.pÉËkæ.lɪËfɹæ.dÊÉl.ɪs.tɪkË Ék.spi.æ.lɪËdÉÊ.ÊÉs])
Then it's from a Song in Mary Poppins with the same title.
"Critics' belief that the word itself has obscure origins has created some debate about when it was first used historically. According to Robert B. Sherman, co-writer of the song with his brother, Richard, the word was created mostly out of double-talk"
Apparently about 13 years before it came out there was another song called Supercalafajalistick espeealadojus. There was a lawsuit but somehow the Law Beasts at Disney put the kibosh on it despite the fact that it seems like an obvious rip off.
There are a few other variants but most are just references to the Mary Poppins Movie
Note: the word above doesn't actually have a space in it. I did that so yahoo's gibberish filter doesn't break it up.
