Let me first say that I have problems with both Democrats and Republicans so I don't have a candidate that I'm supporting at this time. Therefore, given the only 2 candidates that fit your scenario for "next year", I kind of hope it's neither one. That's not to say that I am jumping up and down to have another white male in there either. My personal preference would be to see a woman as president first (just because I'm curious as to how it would go) providing it's the right woman. I disagree with voting for Hilary just because she is one. And, I disagree with voting for Obama just because he is black. That's ridiculous. And, they both have serious issues to overcome before they get elected. I believe before either a white woman or a black person gets elected as president, someone is going to have to come up with a candidate in both categories that can actually win and isn't dragging "foot in mouth" issues with them into the election.

No. below 40 5 years in the past you had segregation in the south and it become like open season on black persons. Obama would were killed and not using a 2d concept in the South. Martin Luther King Jr., Medgar Evers, some black females in Birmingham Ala and countless others coud allow you to recognize all about it. in the present day a number of those human beings are nonetheless round harboring that line of questioning and function surpassed it on to their little ones. seem on the Skinheads. also in the South you've a extremely some those who sense a spouse must be in the homestead. I had a next door neighbor in Tennesse whose sister grew to grow to be a legal specialist. Her mothers and fathers purely ought to no longer comprehend why she would attempt this somewhat of staying homestead like her 2 sisters even as their husband worked. BTW I assure you if Katrina had ht another component of the country except Louisiana and MIssssippi Bush and his boys would have moved their asses plenty speedier. FYI that is 2007 and once in a lengthy time period I journey racism some diffused some no longer a lot. Welcome to us of a land of religion and hypocrisy

Politics is a funny beast…funny weird, not funny ha-ha. We are so early in the process that we don’t know who is going to rise to the top. I don’t see even the DNP taking the chance on either one…they want to put a middle of the road candidate in for the race.
Sadly, I see the RNP doing the same thing, and so we will basically have our same old choice to make: the lesser of two evils. It’s too bad that we don’t really have much from which to choose.

The statement beneath your question already reveal what you think, but God willing, (and I'm assuming you mean the following candidates) neither Barack "death of soldiers is a waste" Obama and Hillary "I was wrong for voting for war in Iraq and now I oppose it to coddle to my base like Barack is doing" Clinton will be President. Hopefully the majority of Americans will realize that left of center democrats like Obama and Clinton can only hurt us, and they will vote for right of center, Romney, Giulianni, or Mcain. God Bless America (take that ACLU)

I believe that there will be a african-american president, becuase of the fact that a lot of people want for there to be a 'black' president. no matter what most likely, but then again there is a good chance that it will be a lady president.^_^

I agree
not cancel each other out but will probably cause the still not so just people to be biased towards the partys choice and vote differently about the actual facts.

Hating a person for being female or black is terribly wrong. So is supporting a person for the same thing is wrong. I judge people as an individual and treat them accordingly.
