well, back in 1980 I would have taken Mr Hooper out but since Big Bird had him eliminated in the early 80's, I can't say "Mr Hooper".
Elmo is a little too hyperactive but nothing that a bottle of Ritalin couldn't help.
I think Bert needs to be shot. Haven't you seen the pictures of him, online, with Hitler and all them people? He's EVIL

I wouldnt take him out....i would however shoot Big Birds tufft off...Then I would rename him...Egg bird, and use him for a mascot for cancer patients to raise funds......hehehe....(good plan)....Happy Valentines.
