It was a little thing, but mine did this morning. He was angry and grumpy all morning because of work, and he was kind of taking it out on me. So about an hour after he left, he called me and left the sweetest message. He said sorry for being so cranky and rude, and that he loved me very much. It was small, but it really made my morning, and probably my day, so much better.

That's sweet.
Trust me- after you're with them long enough and they start crabassing about how horrible their lives are and complaining about things and being rude, you learn to just tune them out.
Mine came in yesterday and first words out of his mouth were "Sons of bitches that didn't show up to work today"
an where I used to would have petted him and talked about it for 2 hours, I instead said
"Oh that sucks.. Hey can you take the trash out for me, Oprah's about to come one."

Mine left me a note on the mirror in the bathroom the other night for me to see when I woke up the next morning. It said "good mornin sweetheart! I'm glad you are here with me...I need a smooch!"
He does sweet stuff all the time though, but I thought this was really nice. He's never done that before!
