It could be that your body is trying to become pregnant, but no sperm has made it to the egg. Or it has but it has not made it far enough to produce and embryo. Maybe also you should get a breast exam to make sure and be safe. Good luck to you!

Sore breasts can be a sign of pregnancy but also that of pre-menstrual tension as well commonly experienced before your period. Pre-menstrual tension or PMT can cause a variety of symptoms in women from the sore breasts you mention to tiredness, headaches, bloating, mood swings, spots etc. It is your bodys reaction to the hormone change & fluctuation present in your body. Before ovulation the amount of the hormone named oestrogen in your body is high & at /after ovulation the hormone progesterone is higher causing a body temperature rise as well as the symptoms commonly experienced before your period.
Although you say it began the same time you tried to conceive it is probably just a coincidence. Our bodies change and develop all the time as we age & it is not uncommon at all for a woman who has never suffered from PMT to begin to at a later stage. I frequently suffer the same & a day or so after ovulation experience the sore breasts also.
I hope this helps you. & Good luck for the future.

it is very possible that your hormone level isn't high enough for the test to detect it. I would say hang in there and wait for a couple more days and if you still don't start your period then take another test. Tender breasts really doesn't mean that you are pregnant. IT could be that as you have gotten older they just get more sensitive. Hang in there

There's not a lot of information which makes hard for me to understand and give you the most accurate respond. All I got to say is to wait a week after missing the period. But if you wish to know with certainty a blood test is accurate and can give you the correct respond.

Please if you can check my question!!

sore boobs could be a sign of pregnancy or aunt flow. I know it is hard but, you will just have to wait and see. (easier said then done, I know)
