I have heard from a few poeple this is true. Others say it is only if they use tanning oils or lotions. Please help me clarify this.

Hi there. I used to have acrylic nails and I can tell you for certain that tanning does make your nails turn a yellowish color if your nails are bare. However, even with colored polish the tanning beds will change the color of the polish as well, it usually darkens the color. There is an easy fix for this problem though, just purchase a non-yellowing top coat for your nails; you can purchase it almost anywhere or from your nail salon. Good luck!

Yes tanning will turn your acrylic nails yellow. But to prevent this you can get solar nails. They are a little bit more expensive but they dont yellow. I tan & that is the kind of nails I get. I hope this helps! :)

Yes, the UV light can turn your nails. Also, you should NEVER be using oils during indoor tanning...

i worked at a tan parlor for like one billion years. i found a fashion to get previous this issue. in case you get image voltaic nails they dont turn yellow. and likewise the spray wont turn your nails shades. basically make certain you wipe them off afterwards or use alot of barrier cream. thats what its there for.

All I gotta say is when I has my fake nails and i used sunless tanning lotions they were nast y and horrible. They were stained and gross. I can not tell you how glad i am not have them off. haha
