I have tried inserting "www.answers.yahoo.com" in the restricted websites from Internet Options (I have IE6) [as the Best Answer for this question said: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj044.l42BvS8hPWd5QQ1SRIzKIX?qid=1006042416362 ]
but the problem is that it blocks the whole Yahoo website (It won't let me get to www.mail.yahoo.com )
How can I block just this part of the Yahoo website (the Yahoo Answers part), without buying any software please?

(Yes I am serious.) Thank you in advance.

Open the HOSTS file (usually located in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC\HOSTS).

Create an entry like this:

answers.yahoo.com 127.0.0.1

This will make it so that any attempts to access the Answers site from your computer will lead to a 404 (not found) page.

you may use NetDog : http://www.netdogsoft.com
it's easy, just add the website to "Always blocked website list" in NetDogAdmin.exe, also you can set a password for netdogadmin
