its probly an ovarian cyst. Pretty harmless, but painful. Dont worry, there are ways to get rid of them. If thats what it is, your gyno will probly put you on a high dose bcp to shrink it. The hormones in the pill help.

The same started to happen with me. I let it go for over a year until finally my periods were so bad they prevented me from a "normal lifestyle". I found out I had alot of scar tissue build up around my ovary's and 2 cyst's. I had to have surgery to remove the scar tissue and cyst. I was back on my feet in a couple of days. My doctor told me that I will probably have to have that surgery every so often because the scar tissue will build back up over the years.

It sounds like ovulation pain. And yes, periods can get worse with age as we lose muscle tone and become more sedentary. You say you're "starting to think more about it" and I wonder too if maybe your thinking about it is giving it a "feeling" at other times of the month. Get it checked, if for no other reason than to stop worrying!

It's possible that you have an ovarian cyst - which is easily treatable - but I wouldn't be too concerned. The ovaries go through many changes during your menstrual cycle and what you describe sounds very common.

Sounds like a ovarian cyst to me, i get them a lot. I know this sounds strange but i eat prunes when i get a cyst and it helps the pain subside. Usually gas and pressure make a cyst hurt worse because it pushes on it.

Nope. It happens to me too. As I get older my period gets to be more of a pain in butt. You probably just ovulate from the same side every month. My "twinge" as I call it goes from my right to left every other month.

It could be an ovary cyst, some women get that and it might go away or it might not.... I think you should go to your doctor whenever you have your pains and get a sonogram.
