"Do not stand at my grave and weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die."

An angel in our lives.
By: Sandy Holmes.

In heaven is a new angel who is in charge of our lives.
This angel is someone, we've known our whole lives.
He is there when we are happy, he is there when we are sad.
He touches our cheeks, while we sleep at night.
He walks right behind us, every step of our lives.
He live in our memories, he live in our hearts.
From heaven he loves us, from heaven he smiles.
Our angel is our father we love you for all times.

there s a song that my choir is singing that is sort of like that but it's more geared towards the children realising that the loved one is still with them even though they're gone.
it's called Wanting Memories
...I am sitting here wanting memories to guide me... to see the beauty in the world through my own eyes... I thought that you were gone but now i know you're with me, helping me see beauty in the world through your eyes...
