in Buffalo it's snowing, but not in Manhattan or NYC...

New York is a very large state. What part are you talking about.

The City at 11:00am was getting off and on light flurries.

My absolute favorite website for weather is theweathernetwork.com. It gives you the time of the entry of current weather and often times there is video. It's also very specific. You don't need to know the airport codes.
