I have to dress up for work and since I am petite I like wearing shorter skirts and dresses...nothing shorter than 3 inches above the knee. My bf is mad because I don't wear panties with hose.
I think they are made to be worn without. He thinks it is trashy.
What do you think?

I'm sure that he is saying that to try n stop u from wearing what u r cuz u prob look good and he is prob scared some other guy is going to take u from him with looking so good.It isn't what u wear it's the person if u act decent n do things like bend with your knees and not over then something like what u r describing r fine for work.Knowone knows whats under your skirt n knowone is going to find out cuz u r a decent person n not acting like a ho so if I where u I would still wear what u r wearing n just let him no that u r comfortable in those cloths.He needs to feel more secure it sounds n is getting jealous that u r wearing these cloths for work .Good luck n hope it all works out.

Even if he is wrong on every issue, the point is you want to go to work in a way he feels is trashy.
Stick to your guns honey. That is really a good sign that you are putting your self-center desires to act as an individual before you act like someone dedicated to a marriage with a partner that has there own feelings.
Just me I wouldn't be caught dead wearing something y spouse thought was inappropriate regadless of how silly it seemed to me. But then again I'm not selfish and my marriage comes firt. The way ists' suppose to be.
You have some serious growing up to do and its a shame you made a commiment of marriage because you don't get thta it's about being a couple not you anymore.
You have this one completly wrong. Your girly friends (let's all dress like trash to get male attention -- but don't you dare call us trashy) will back you but no real women will give you the time of day on this issue.

I would have to side with your bf. You really should be wearing panties. (especially at work, unless it's a strip joint) Good taste/good class should be in every woman. The short skirt thing shouldn't bother him. (that may be insecurity) But I would exercise some class in how I dress for work. Sometimes I feel panties can show through the hose. 3 inches is not too short. When I dress If I am in doubt, I change. And of course you know, dress for success. If you feel it looks professional then fine ! Who is going to know you don't have panties anyhow? If it makes him feel better wear a thong~

A lot of women don't wear panties with pantyhose. I don't. Technically, I don't think you're supposed to. Isn't part of the purpose to prevent panty lines?? My husband might snear a little if I was dressing promisciously, but I dress very tastefully, even if its sexy. Just use your best judgement. If you saw someone wearing what you're wearing, would you think it was appropriate for a professional environment?

Luckily, a lot of women like to wear short dresses with hose and heels. Do a search on yahoo for "Pantyhose Fetish". Hell, type any random word with the word "fetish" at the end. You'd be surprised at what you find. If Yahoo has done nothing for us, it's at least made people with fetishes seem less alone.

Hey Kathy, if you are true to your bf then he shouldn't worry about what you wear. If you want to wear hose without panties and are comfortable with that, go for it! I feel that you should wear what you want, when you want and where you want.
Bf will just have to learn to trust you! Nothing is ever trashy if you feel good about yourself!

Pantyhose are called that for a reason, they replace panties (many even have a cotton crotch).
No, there is no need to wear panties in addition to pantyhose, although for those that prefer to it's their choice.
Wearing nothing at all under your clothes isn't trashy, it's simply a preference...the trashy line wouldn't get crossed unless you were attempting show show off to others what you had under your clothes.
Tell him to get a grip. It's no one's business but yours what you wear (or don't) under your clothing.

I like females in jeans. It makes them look more city like and it generally does not appear to be they are trying too hard but if you're looking to get this guys attention, this may well not be what you want

I really do enjoy using long skirts once in a while. They can be actually convenient than Denims rather than as hot to wear also.
