yes because a rhinoceros is an exotic animal. to have an exotic animal in your home or on your property you must obtain an exotic animal license. you would also have to provide a proper habitat for the animal, and the wildlife association sometimes checks up on the animal to make sure you are providing an adequate living environment. i know you were joking but lets say you wanted a rhesus monkey - lots of people do own them, but they have to obtain proper licenses and provide special living arrangements for the exotic animal they own.

In the UK, the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 forbids the keeping of any animal in the Schedule to the act (which includes rhinos) without a licence issued by a local authority.

The only exemptions are for a licenced zoo, a circus, a pet shop (!) and a place where scientific research takes place (there is other legislation that governs this).

The Law Of Common Sense!!!

Hippos, Elephants, Zebra, virtually anything bigger than a labrador
or 'unusual' pets are a no-no.

If you want an exotic 'pet', you could do part time work at a local zoo

I would strongly recommend you dont keep any animals, if you can't see the obvious danger of keeping a Rhino.

Yes. The Law of Gravity would likely cause it to fall through the floor.
