from your friend and its panties, would you want her to actually pick out a pair of panties for you or just give you a gift card to Victorias Secret to purchase them yourself?

Get her a gift card, go shopping together, show her your suggestions, and see what she likes.

That would give you some insight on what she likes, and you could end up suggesting something that looks great, but she wouldve never considered it on her own.
