Personally, I get the thumbs down a fair bit and it doesn't bother me. My sense of humour and my philosophies don't appeal to everyone and that's cool. (To be perfectly honest, I'd rather get a negative response than no response at all, but I won't lose any sleep over not being noticed, either.)

I've noticed other people on here either deliberately stir up trouble or seem to take it to heart when people don't respond well to them. How do you feel about others people's reactions to you?

The 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' is the 'vote' that all and sundry readers can click on...to help the guy asking the question to be sure what the main primary answer is. you would be able to have been given a thumbs down via just about everyone in the event that they theory your answer replace into incorrect, decieving, did no longer answer the question, or in case you purely spoke back 'I dunno' just to fish for 2 factors. So that's no longer the questioner that clicked 'thumbs down'...that's definitely everyone else! community regulations explains the thank you to ask or answer a question...and evidently that greater efficient than a million/2 of the questions asked are via those that did no longer examine the 'regulations'. utilising ideal english, superb spelling, making sparkling experience of a question or answer, being over 13 to ask or answer, all issues that seem omitted many times.

Hey, to each their own ... here (with the thumbs down) is very similiar to the prejudice, sexism, hate that one has heard over their lifetime (and I've heard quite a bit while wearing the Uniform of Military Service before my Retirement -- now that is and can be very verbally UGLY).
