on Sunday and I had sex with my husband on Friday and Saturday? We have been ttc for over 3 years now. I know it is too soon to have any symptoms and way too early to test. I know that we should've had sex on the day of Ov to improve our chances, but hubby went away on business. I would appreciate it if any of you have had similar experiences could comment. Thanks!

It depends, you say you have been TTC for 3 years, is there something wrong with either of you? Not trying to be mean just I've been TTC for just over a year and I have PCOS, so I didn't know if maybe you were taking medication or anything like that. Legistically you did what you should and should be pregnant. Good Luck and God Bless!

In the best situation 25%, is what I have found on the computer but, all your need is 1 chance, right. Actually you should have sex a couple of days before you ov. Having sex on the day you ov is cutting it too close because your cervix closes to protect the chance of a fertilized egg. Me and my husband start having sex everyday about a week before ov.

Blowing you some baby dust your way!!! I think it is great you had sex around that time, that certainly improves your chances. YOu want to have sex days before you ovulate because on the day you ovulate could be too late. It takes time for those spermies to get to the egg and it is preferable to have them meet closer to the tube than the uterus. Gives them a fighting chance. Yes I ovulated on Sunday and yes I couldn't have sex that day so I did it on Friday at 11 pm almost saturday. I have a very like question. I will wait until monday to do a blood test.

I got pregnant 3 times when we had sex just a day or two before I ovulated and not on the day. Good luck!!!!

Your chances are very good. Sperm can live in the body for up to 72 hours, so live sperm would possibly still have been in your body when you ovulated. Good Luck!
