The best way to help yourself is to spend some time around people who have worse problems than you do. Volunteer at a nursing home. Spend some time around them for a while and your feelings of "lonliness" will get put into perspective pretty fast.

i do feel lonely sometimes...and nobody likes me...and i do feel like i wanna kill myself...but i always ask myself: am i at the right place? with the right people?...i mean sometimes we hang around with people who have personalities very different than ours...and when we talk to them we just don't feel like we're on the same page...BE WHERE YOU FIND YOURSELF...it doesn't matter with whom u would be...as long as u r being heard, u smile, u laugh, u feel happy, comfortable, nobody is bothering u...
i'll tell about sth happened to me: one day mom told me that her friend was visiting her, and she asked me to hang out with her daughter and her daughter's friend...so i went with them to a restaurant..and we had our lunch..then they started smoking and i hate smoking and barely can stand smokers..then they started laughing loudly and make fun of the waiter...and it got so embarrassing that people started lookin at us...so i just thought: where am i?why am i wasting my time?...so i asked for the bill...payed for what i ate...and with smiley face left them(i was sure that they didn't like me)...when i went home, i told mom what happened and she told me that it was the the best thing that i did...i knew that with them i'm not gonna be me...so i thought what the heck...i'm not gonna waste my time with these when i can use it to find someone who i like....

before ther people can like you or love you... you have to love yourself first. if you can look up the lyrics of the song: the greatest love of all by whitney houston, ponder it and get a lesson from it. there's this line that says: the greatest love of all, is easy to achieve. learning to love yourself- that is the greatest love of all. don't despair and check on your community to help out kids that needs your help. they will love you there.
