the reason why wolverine want Jean so much is because she is the first person in almost a hundred years who actually cares about him, it may also be because she reminded him of the girl he loved who he accidentally killed when he was young...
Its hard to say that he love her more than scott because its in a totally different situation..Wolverine loves Jean but at the same time Jean never actually show any true love to him....on the other side, Jean and Scott has been together since the first day they met...i personally dont think that you can judge them based on the situation

I think Scott and Jean have more of a chance since they have more history, Wolverine just started getting a crush on her after he saw her. It doesn't matter much now though, Jean is dead and even if she comes back to life, she's pure evil!

Wolverine, was a better partner than Scott, Wolverine had more "heart and soul", than sissy boy jealous Scott. But in the comics, Wolverine, had always loved Jean,,,,,,,even to her death,,,??

basically you can't help who you fall in love with. it just happens. Logan fell for jean and now pines over her. Can he love her more then scott? I doubt it. On an equal level? sure why not.

A good idea would be to ask the writer. Just about any good serial has a romantic conflict of some sort. Especially with superheros.
