Yes, you must paint your house pink to avoid this - I take it he didn't point out that you should also run naked through the centre of your Town with a Banana stuck up your backside? This is also a requirement

He wants you to signal them that it is OK to come down and invade...so don't listen to him...paint your house bright yellow, that reflects the light of the sun and sends a ray right to their mother ship which will cause them to retreat.
