The ram I need for my motherboard is 200/266 MHZ DDR SDRAM 2.5 V (only) 184-pin .

I need to know if PC1600 DDR SDRAM 184-pin will be compatible with my motherboard.

I will be unbelievably thankful for anyone who can help.

You can use either 200Mhz or 266Mhz DDR SDRAM according to what you said. PC1600 DDR SDRAM is another name for 200Mhz DDR SDRAM, so yes it will be compatible.

Generally speaking yes. You can use slower ram speeds. You really need to make sure the voltage is correct as some newer MB have a higher voltage and some auto adjust.

refer to your motherboard manual for the RAM compability. if your MB can hold higher than PC1600 the better.
