I grew up in Chicago, been in the Boston area for the last three years.

Each has its charms. Boston is historic, elitist, blunt-speaking. Chicago is Midwestern sensible, honest.

Boston has P-town on the Cape. Chicago has Boys Town on Halsted.

Boston is Red Sox and Patriots. Chicago is Cubs, White Sox and Bears.

The weather is not much different between the two.

Chicago on a grid is easy to get around. Boston on colonial cowpaths is murder even on GPS.

Boston is a wonderful place to live, but it's expensive. Chicago is more affordable, but that's not the reason why I'd pick it. It'll always be home to me, and that's an unfair but significant advantage.

Love them both! both have mind-blowing transportation structures, Boston is slightly more beneficial expensive, yet also has more beneficial historic places. Chicago is way higher than Boston, yet i imagine Boston has more beneficial diverse ethnicity. I at the moment stay in Chicago, yet have visited Boston many situations, and prefer it!

Boston. You can get married if you want. The city itself is beautiful. The people are generally accepting and nice. It is less chilly. The wind is a killer in Chicago.
