I am absolutely fascinated with Anita Shreve's work, but I have never heard anyone else mention her like I do. Are there any fans of hers here? What was your favorite book of hers, and why? The first one I ever read of hers was "The Last Time They Met" and it was absolutely wonderful. It was told in reverse chronological order, which I thought was brilliant.

I think she is a great writer. I could never do what she does. I have to admit, however, that every book I've read of hers has left me feeling pretty low. I think she's a bit depressing.

I've read THE PILOTS WIFE, WHERE OR WHEN, & SEA GLASS. I like SEA GLASS the best, but I still felt so blue at the end, I haven't read anything of hers since.
