The British used the Mark tanks which had four or five classes (I-V) and was the first tank used in WWI, while the French used the Schneider CA1. The Germans developed tanks as well but on a smaller scale, building the A7V.

There were lots of cool names.
German: Panzer, Panther, Tiger, King Tiger, Hummel, Elefant, Nashnorn, Jagdpanzer, Jagdpanther, Marder, StuG
Russian: T-34, KV-I, IS-2, T-70
American: Sherman, Grant, Chafee, Hellcat
British: Tetrarch, Crusader, Cromwell, Matilda, Valentine, Churchill
There are, obviously, many others.

don't forget the liberty a mark VIII produced in America the mark V special this vehicle had special length tracks to better cross the larger trenches , the mark IX used as a troop carrier or supply vehicle
