Casual shoes look best. Don't listen to people who tell you sneakers. As far as I am concerned sneakers are never an option except for going to workout.
Preferably you want a soft shoe. Color depends on the shirt and belt that you are wearing.

Deck Shoes. or Keds!
I use to wear my Keds I like my Keds. Now I wear Deck Shoes. That is not a brand name, well it might be,but they are just shoes. They have a function. They are practical and look smart!
