What do you think of al Qaeda's plan?

Al Qaeda has a plan, and it’s been published in a book (Al-Zarqawi: al Qaeda's Second Generation) by Jordanian journalist, Fouad Hussein. Several al Qaeda leaders were interviewed for the book, including al Qaeda’s man in Iraq, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The book is only available in Arabic, but it does lay out a very straightforward strategy for world conquest. Actually, it sounds a lot like what the nazis and communists had in mind last century. The only difference is that, while the nazis killed you for who you were, and the communists killed you for what you believed,al Qaeda kills you for religious differences. No matter which zealot gets you, you're still dead.

According to Fouad Hussein, al Qaeda has a seven phase plan for world conquest. It goes like this.

Phase 1, the “wakeup call.” Spectacular terrorist attacks on the West (like September 11, 2001) get the infidels (non-Moslems) to make war on Islamic nations. This arouses Moslems, and causes them to flock to al Qaeda's banner.

This phase is considered complete.

Phase 2, the “eye opening.” This is the phase we are in, where al Qaeda does battle with the infidels, and shows over a billion Moslems how it’s done. This phase is supposed to be completed by next year.

Phase 3, “the rising.” Millions of aroused (in a terrorist sense) Moslems go to war against Islam’s enemies for the rest of the decade. Especially heavy attacks are made against Israel. It is believed that major damage in Israel will force the world to acknowledge al Qaeda as a major power, and negotiate with it.

Phase 4, “the downfall.” By 2013, al Qaeda will control the Persian Gulf, and all its oil, as well as most of the Middle East. This will enable al Qaeda to cripple the American economy, and American military power.

Phase 5, “the Caliphate.” By 2016, the Caliphate (one government for all Moslem nations) will be established. At this point, nearly all Western cultural influences will be eliminated from Islamic nations.

The Caliphate will organize a mighty army for the next phase.

Phase 6, “world conquest.” By 2022, the rest of the world will be conquered by the righteous and unstoppable armies of Islam. This is the phase that Osama bin Laden has been talking about for years.

Phase 7, “final victory.” All the world’s inhabitants will be forced to either convert to Islam, or submit (as second class citizens) to Islamic rule. This will be completed by 2025 or thereabouts.

Nothing really new in all this. Al Qaeda has been talking openly about this (the global Islamic state) for years. These Islamic terrorists are true believers. God is on their side, and they believe all obstacles will be swept aside by the power of the Lord. Will al Qaeda’s plan work? Ask the nazis and communists.

I think it is frightening, and also sad that so many are still trying to blame America or republicans for what is going on while ignoring the real facts published by the terrorists themselves.

The plan, while ambitious and clever, has a fatal flaw. The planners have utterly failed to take into account American psychology and philosophy. Phase 3 cannot succeed because of the manner in which Phase 1 was commenced and the way in which Phase 2 is being conducted. Japan hit the US with a sneak attack and woke the sleeping giant. This cowardly act offended us not because "America is better" but because it violated America's collective notion of what it meant to fight fair.

Al Qaeda did the same kind of thing. They killed innocent civilians in their wakeup call, and they conduct guerilla warfare from mosques or other religious buildings and put more innocent civilians at risk as human shields and fail to distinguish their soldiers from the populace at large. America will not negotiate with them (as in offering concessions) because Al Qaeda has shown itself to lack integrity, to be uncivilized, and it therefore is not trustworthy. If Al Qaeda does not timely stop their barbaric behavior, the only negotiation that will be possible with Al Qaeda is setting the terms of their surrender.

Again, an ambitious and clever plan that likely will succeed in the short term for spreading hatred and doing evil, but fatally flawed in its assumption that America will knuckle under to a chest-thumping barbaric adversary. And don't begin to think this is another Vietnam. The Viet Cong did not bomb US commercial buildings or skyjack US commercial airliners or target US civilians. The purveyors of hate will wear themselves out, having their hearts rotted from within and being wholly consumed by hatred.

Sean's comments are surprisingly frightening yet i think of they're what maximum westerners think of. Is it Sean the Shi'ite or Sean the Sunni. unusual call for a Muslim. there'll by no potential be a nuclear attack on Britain. quicker or later we would have yet another cowardly atrocity via fact the risk-free practices forces won't be able to conceal each and every eventuality. besides the undeniable fact that i would be sure there being an almighty backlash against the Muslims except they start to get their own domicile so as.

The end result of such a plan is that the entire world would unite to defeat this movement. The real danger in all this is the disruption these people can cause in the global economy, which really seems to be the focus of their efforts. The attack on the WTC was an attack on the international currency market, not the USA.

Anyone can have "a plan", anyone write a book.

No, it does not sound much like the Nazi or Communist ideals. The Nazi ideal was never world domination and the communists belief was that the world would naturally turn to socialism and communism over time, they would just have to defend those who did. It does sound however like traditional Maoist theory from Mao's little red book.

The number of flaws, lack of political and economic understanding, lack of support, and complete misunderstanding of the shift from low to mid to high intensity conflict make this unworkable except as propaganda to get some ignorant people all excited.

Just effing propaganda. I'm more worried about Hillary Clinton's "Plan".

I think that the real danger in al Queda is its support base. Unlike the west, the support base of terrorists and fanatical islamists will not waver at the first sight of a body bag. Of course, that applies to almost any other country than the united states.

I think its a book that just about anyone who was paid enough money could write, or i think it's a dream written by someone who has no since about how the world operates, or i think its just another tool of which people in power could use to build enough fear to wage a war against a race of people..........

or i think that such a thing is not new, there's probably one of these written every year, maby its part of writing contest of which the winner gets a brand new camel.

Unfortunately, I think their plan is better thought out and conceivable than our current plan against them.

We have failed to do two critical things that will eventually cause their plan to have great success.

1. We have refused to call up a draft of able bodied Americans to defend our interests abroad but more importantly to defend our borders, ports and infrastructure. It shows that our hearts are not in the fight and it alone is a stunning act of weakness by our government and secondly our people.

2. We have failed to change our immigration and visa policies for muslims trying to gain access to our country. We should have put a freeze on middle eastern muslims entering the U.S. and we should be deporting muslims from the U.S. that have any recorded issues with our way of life. Instead our leaders have told us to go shopping and have tried to sell our ports and highways to them.

When they did 9/11 , Al Queda stated that there would be a much bigger attack in stage 2 for the USA and their hopes were to completely annihilate us by stage 4 or 5 .

funny that it is the same myth that you always see in movies such as "the Omen" that portrays that the anti-christ is going to be doing the same exact thing, or in "Lord of the Rings" or "Star Wars" or any other story that has a doomsday storyline of Good vs Evil.

that "PLAN" as you call it, is only a basic military tactic of all military plans, just filled in the blanks with msulims. nothing new.
It is the basic goal of achieving victory in all things....war ...business...law suits.
