There's 2 bumps on one side, the biggest one is on the middle of his body, and a smaller is above it. On the other side a medium bump is also on the middle of his body. They're not white, so I don't think it's ICH, but is it part a process where they shed they're scales or something? I have a fantail in the tank with him and he's fine. But the gold fish's scales seem a little discolored....what's going on?

The bumps are under the scales, but it pushes out pretty far, pushing the scales out with it. Bumps on the skin which appear to be originating from under the skin could be a couple of things. It could be from an internal parasite which has deposited itself in the skin of the fish and is causing the skin to bulge out or it could be tumors or cysts, whether congenital or from poor water conditions. There is one form of tumors which are actually tuberculosis which is contagious to humans, so you should avoid direct contact with the fish or put unprotected hands in the water, just in case this could be the problem. If it is the tumors/cysts, there is nothing you can do but to wait out the outcome. The fish may survive perfectly fine with the tumors/cysts, the tumors/cysts could kill it or the tumors/cysts could burst. If these are tumors/cysts and they burst, you will just need to treat the fish to prevent infection or disease from entering into the wound. A salt treatment is the least stressful. Add ½ tsp aquarium salt per 1 gallon of water. Pre-mix the salt in a little water you removed from the tank and then slowly pour the water back in the tank near a filter output so that you get a thorough mix of the salt in the water. If it is an internal parasite, the best thing to do would be to treat with mediated food such as Metro-Med or Medi-Gold. A parasite would be contagious, so even though your other goldy is not displaying any signs of sickness, you may wish to feed both of them the medicated food. It certainly can’t hurt to feed medicated food, so this would be a good preventative measure, even if the other goldy isn’t sick and even if the sick one had a tumor instead of a parasite. The second link is for a recipe for medicated gel food. Goldies love gel food and is a yummy treat for them, even if it isn’t medicated! Good luck with your goldy and hopefully everything will turn out well!

That is NOT ich. ich is little salt-like crystals on the fish. It sounds like ulcers. It could be related to tuberculosis, internal problems, or a virus such as koi herpes (affects any of the carp/goldfish species). Avoid any contact with the water if you have any sores or cuts on your hands. TB can infect cuts and can have horrible consequences. Carp herpes doesn't spread to humans, but some other viruses do. You can try treating aggressively with antibiotic injections or maracyn plus, but if the fish is far along. It may be better to euthanize with clove oil. A necropsy would tell you what went wrong.

properly if yu dont have a filter out or air bubbles it would want to have hassle respiration and its mouth and gills are shifting quickly because its attempting to gasp for air . properly if yu have a filter out and the waters shifting round perchance the fish basically desires more effective oxygen , so i might want to point a bubbler ... exceptionally because the tank is somewhat smaller than what it really is going to be .
