Your manner of writing and presenting the information decides whether your essay will be "dry" or "interesting". One thing that comes to mind is that walking is one of the best "natural" stress relievers there is - the reason? Because it releases the endorphins in our body which help to alleviate stress.

Another is how pets help control high blood pressure; reduce stress; and help to cheer senior citizens. A friend of mine belongs to an organization called "Healing Paws" - every day she takes her dogs to nursing homes where the patients get to watch them do their tricks and pet them. There's a slew of information about this on the Internet. Do a search for "healing paws" (there's too many to list). I'm an animal lover so guess I'm prejudiced, but I don't think there's anything more interesting than writing about animals and the wonderful things they do for us.
