I have recently started listening to songs like Wonderwall by Oasis and Drops of Jupiter by Train and also calling all angels by Train, what are some other artists or songs that are similar to this?

I agree with the other answerer - some of the older stuff is much better - the Rolling Stones, The Eagles, Springsteen, Steve Winwood - BRILLIANT songwriters!

For newer artists, check out matchbox twenty, David Gray, U2, John Mayer, Jet, even Radiohead (they aren't really in the same style, but "The Bends" is one of the best albums EVER.)

A lot of that stuff is influenced by much earlier recordings of, in my opinion, better songs. From what you've said above, I suggest checking out Greetings from Ashbury Park, by Bruce Springsteen, The White Album, by The Beatles, and maybe Exile on Main Street, by the Rolling Stones.

You'll find a lot of similarities, I'd think, and better lyrics with the older stuff as well.
