Went to church, to see public executions. To the markets, where they sold and bought things, and watched performers, jongleurs and similar.
Nobility went to church, to tournaments, listened to music of minstrels and troubadours. Made love (flirted with each other), composed verses, hunted (only nobles could hunt), went to wars.

The would play a form of 'baseball' with a stick and rocks. Their houses were dried mud/clay with stray tops. They weren't all 'fazoom' BRICKS! They were just simple.

He is just looking out for you, my Aunt used to be the same way always telling me "You can't make it on your own." and I'd always say "Maybe YOU can't but I CAN." She eventually got that through her head and left me alone about it, just try something similar with your brother and he will eventually get the message.

That VERY much depends on the person's socio-economic class. If they were nobles, there were lots of things. If they were peasants or serfs, their idea of "fun" was surviving the winter or the Black Death. Be more specific with your question, please.
