Only in cases of serious accidents and horrible facial deformation. The same ladies who are over training at the gym to look 15, want to have a nose or face job.
They should take all the extra money which they burn on trivial purchases and services in a month and give it to charity.
That way we could eliminate poverty in the entire world in exactly 1 year 15 days and17 seconds. I calculated that on my SGI workstation 2 hours and 28 minutes ago. So there!

I don't seeanything wrong about it. Some people need it, some don't, and almost everybody wants it because of human nature. We're never totally pleased with who we are, physically or spiritually. Now, about the money, you've got to keep in mind that the funds to finance the operation will come from the patient's purse, and we don't have a right to tell that person not to have the operation and to donate the money to a research fund instead.

I'm not really sure I'd do it but I do know you need to research the doctors background in that field cause you don't want to look like those girls with holes for breasts and terrible scaring and all that mess. I heard on the news last night that scientists found a way to put stem cells with fat cells and then inject them so your breasts grow naturally. Japan said they look more natural than silicone ones used today. But you have to wait like 5 years for them to be able to do it.

doing it for cosmetic reasons is unbelievably vain and a total waste of money and time. i can understand doing it for health reasons, such as a breast reduction, but to alter your body into some cookie cutter form for "perfection" is disgusting. there's quite a few things that i don't like about my body, but never in a million years would i go under the knife to change it. this is me, this is who i am, and i have accepted that.

If it's necessary, I'm all for it. By necessary, I'm talking about reconstructive surgery for mastectomy patients, or burn victims, etc.
If it's just because you don't like your nose, then I think it's stupid. Why do we all want to look like Barbie? I think character is what makes people beautiful.

I want some!
I say...if someone wants to do it, and has the money to do it...go for it! I don't care!
I personally would never had anything added or put into my body, but I would have no problem getting stuff taken out (lipo) or tucked, etc.

I'm jealous of women that can actually afford it.
It seems in my current financial state (my permanent financial state) that it would be impossible for me to justify thousands of dollars just to satisfy my vanity.
But if you can afford it, why not? I believe alot of women could learn to be more accepting of their bodies and perhaps decide
that they are beautiful just the way they are.
