my hubby thinks im a home body too. i like to stay home. sometimes i have to fib just to get out of going to walmart or some other dumb store. i hate the cold, hate it hate it hate it. but its valentines day. just order something in! watch a movie

Why can't you tell him the truth , it's too cold and you'd rather stay home and possibly snuggle with him. Why lie about it, that's a really bad precedent to start.
An at home valentine's can be just as romantic and special as a fancy restaurant . Tell him today and then order something special to be delivered tomorrow. Put on some romantic music, maybe have a romantic picnic after the kiddies are in bed.
Honesty is always the best policy in any relationship but especially with your spouse.
If you'd lie about something like this he might begin to wonder what else you've been lying to him about.

Jeanette, when you tell your husband he doesn't have to bust his chops to prove he adores all in one (working) day, he will be so thrilled he will just crawl in that bed and snuggle like a Good Boy!!! Don't you feel a little sorry for guys on Valentine's Day?
Maybe it's because I never reciprocated!! I just take my goodies and smile!! I know, I'm a bad influence!! Have a wonderful (but sick this time) Valentine's Day Every Year!! @8-) Sorry you're sick, hope it's getting better.

Just stay in - light some candles, open some wine and order a pizza to be delivered. I like these kind of nights better then being out and about when it's cold.

Don't lie to your husband..ever.
How would you feel if you found out he was lying to you?
Offer some other fun suggestions, staying home.
