i have just recently been getting a lot of cookies when i do a virus check, is it safe to delete cookies from the vault or will they go back onto my pc?

You can select to delete certain cookies or delete them all and start again. Basically a cookie contains personal information used for when you open up a site. For instance it may remeber your address or most likely paswords etc. If you delete you will have to re enter your details again from scratch. A new cookie will be generated and the whole process starts again. I would only delete cookies from sites you will never use again for some time.

I use a program called 'Cookiewall' It allows you to decide which cookies stay on your system and which to delete. If you let it run in the background it will automatically get rid of cookies that you flag up as unwanted.

It is safe to delete cookies, they are small files that websites leave, if you delete them the worst that will happen is a site you go to won't automatically remember your preferences for that site

yes you can delete the cookies. these are little files that come from websites like this one. They will come back onto your computer when you visit the site again.

Hi yes you have to delete the cookied eventually and they will get deleted wherever you delete them from.

It is completely safe to delete them. When you visit a site they will build back up again. I clear mine every time I log off.

if you don't go back on the site
you won't get that cookie back..
you can delete any cookies you want
but, then you will have to put your
username and password back in..
