Yes! My son did the exact same thing. He always seemed a little tired the day of the shots and the next day wanted to do nothing more than sleep.

Some baby's go through periods of just sleepiness. This may not be a direct effect of the vaccination. But if the symptoms are not any different after 48 hours of if your just too concerned to wait to see call your pediatrician to make sure that there can be no sleep effects caused by the vaccines

Sure is just make sure she doesnt have a fever and as long as she wakes for feeding and seems normal otherwise she'll be fine I have a 6 month old and he always gets sleepy with his shots usually after the 2nd to 3rd day he's back to himself again.

Sometimes the vaccines can make them a little tired or even have a bit of a temprature see how she goes but if you are really worried phone your midwife for advice or take her to the doctors.

Yeah it's normal. Shots do weird things to babys. As long as she is eating I wouldn't worry about it. Call the Dr. if you are really concerned, but I'm sure she is fine. Take the time to relax and catch some zzz's.

Call your doctor or public health nurse, whoever administered the vaccine. Don't feel silly asking these questions, you'd regret not calling if something happened.
Call and ask your doctor. You will feel a whole lot better when you do.
Good luck!

my daughter sleeps for about 24 hours after her shots! she wakes up twice to eat, but then goes back to sleep. it is a normal reaction! just watch out for fevers, they sometimes follow a shot as well.

very normal, she'll act kind of flu-ish for the next couple days but she'll be all right. if you're really concerned call your local health nurse just to be sure :)

yes, it's normal, she'll be back to her old self in a day or two. just be thankful that she's not being fussy and feverish.
