I need to change the configuration of the nat router so that i can download a game i want, but i don't even know where to find my router... anyone got a step by step formula?

You are going to have to locate the default ip address of that router. It might be something like 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.245, but you will have to check the routers manual to be sure. Once you have the ip address, simply enter it into the address field of any browser (where you would normally put the web site address). The nat router interface will open and ask for a user name and password. Once again, you need to get these default values from you router manual. Once in your router you will see a variety of tabs or menues allowing you to change whatever your want.

The exact formula depends on the model of your router.

From a command prompt (start, run, "cmd"), type the command "ipconfig /all". Look for the IP address of your default gateway (192.168.1.1 or similar number). That's the IP address of your router.

Open a web browser and type in the IP address of the router (example: http://192.168.1.1). If your router has a web interface, you'll be asked for a username and password. (usually blank and admin, admin and blank, or admin and admin... check the router's documentation to be sure). From the web interface, look for a tab for port forwarding, or nat servers, or "applications and gaming"

If you don't have a web interface, you'll have to telnet in. From a command prompt, type "telnet 192.168.1.1" (again assuming that's your router's IP. It's a bit trickier, because it's all command line, not web...
