When I brake there is a ratteling noise, it also pulls to the right quite a bit. I have heard that it could maybe be the U-Joint but I am not sure. It is all time 4 wheel drive if anyone has any clue as to what it might be please let me know.

I bought a jeep Cherokee new several years ago and am still
driving it with no problems. I also had the problem with the car
pulling to the right. It was the brakes. I don't know exactly what my
mechanic did, but I had no more problems. Brakes don't take so long to fix and doesn't cost very much. Good luck.

The pulling is a break problem on the right or an wheel alignment issue. The rattling could be warped rotors or horribly warn pads, I would look first at the brakes and then if no problem is there check the alignment and U joints.

Sounds like its your brakes, something must have collapsed inside the brake that's why it rattling and pulling, get a mechanic to have a look.

you cuold have a bad left wheel caliper or cylender if theres a bad cvj joint going out,the noise it usually makes is a clicking not rattling, sounds like something came lose...or your brakes just may be going out...have them checked..
