I to am from india. i thnk it all depends on the cooperation of the people. if they choose to be a more powerful country then they can do it. but like i said, i've been 2 india many times and the people seem fine with there way of life. the people don't have much say in the government. parties usually kill there opponents when it comes to elections. different ethnic backgrounds are alwaya fighting on the streets. and Mumbai is filled w/ pickpocketers. so if we want the country to be powerful, then we must first change the people. and also a very powerful store which is located all over india. Chor Bazar, where shopers can go and buy stolen goods for a cheaper price rather than buying it new and paying a whole lot more. what i am trying to say is if the people want change, then they should change them selfs.

Trust me You dont want to be Like USA . Life's not Easy here as it is in India . It Looks very attractive In Hollywood Movies But the Real Face of America is very different than What You see in the Movies . So You're Better off the Way you Are . India is Developing very fast and I think it is only second to China in Terms of economic Development . I'm pretty sure It will be a Major World Super Power in a Decade or so .

And you think because I live in the USofA there is no unemployment, poverty, or corruption? I'm not sure what ever gave you that idea, but they do exist here. Maybe not to the extent they do in India, but they exist.
The people have to make things change. You want to make things better. Tolerate no lies from politicians or anyone else. We have not done that over here and it's really showing.
