Can you still make a direct switch from a hotmail.com to a hotmail.co.uk account?

i know that obviously you can just create a hotmail.co.uk account but there used to be a way of making a direct switch. is that still possible? if so, could you give me a link as I can't find on the main page

I believe they are both distinctly separate - i dont think you can change between them.
