There is always the principle with some people that they don't forget or forgive, but think to yourself, without giving a chance would any of us have had friends, give him /her or a chance , the person is your best friend, mistakes happen from people..
Anger makes us blind , so don't get blind, get some perspective and give them a chance, they will do better, but yet if it happens again, then don't give your friend a chance again because the its you who deserves better and not them...
But for now, forgive, forget and another chance will not hurt you believe me....

Wish you would have been a little more detailed with your question...but it seems that maybe they wasn't that good of a friend anyway. Or maybe they don't realize they stabbed you in the back...or just maybe you should call 911...lol. Just kidding..Bad joke. You should find out why by talking to them. Just depends on your situation.

If he stabbed you in the back you should humiliate your friend in front of other people don't take that person obviously he is probably going to do it again and then ignore and avoid him.

The ultimate revenge is to sleep with his/her mom. This will ruin their relationship for life and is the gift that keeps on giving.
If you have liiterally been stabbed in the back, consult professional medical assistance, then sleep with his/her mom.
