Yes. Along with China, South Korea, Russia and Japan. This is exactly what happened last time. North Korea agreed in the 1990s to stop their program. They got concessions. They didn't stop the program and allowed no one the right to verify. Now they need more because the people of North Korea are dying from lack of basic necessities. So they agree to stop again, and the world rewards them with what they need. It's a game, replayed constantly.

Here, we call it extortion. And the message to every emerging communist or socialist country is the same - threaten us and we'll give you what you want.

Maybe we should base our legal system on this premise since it appears you disagree that this is appeasement. Next time someone robs you, 6 of your neighbors will sit him down, talk to him, and make him promise to stop robbing you. Then they'll all pitch in and pay him $100 for doing such a good thing. No punishment, no jail time. Seems fair.

Thats' want liberals want.
In a few years good old Kim Jong will cook up another scheme and people will want to take him out. BUT the lace pantie people (some of whom are women, mostly spineless men) will put up a fuss about intereference etc and the West will buy him off once more.
Prepare for more of the same in Iran or any other place that hates the USA.

Are you nuts? He can't win with morons like you. If he doesn't do anything, you complain. He moves to protect us and you complain. You deserve a nuclear winter. (Maybe that will fix that Bush-prompted global warming.) You people make me tired.

What do you want, another war? What's the alternative? You've got the criticizing down, but I'm not hearing any ideas from you as to how the situation should be handled.

They won't say he did. It's okay when Bush does it. It's not okay when a Democrat does it.
