It's lightened a lot, not enough that I could wear a panty liner, but I'm still cramping a bit with headaches and typical pms cravings. Is this normal period behavior after a miscarriage?
BTW: My HCG levels finally lowered completely to non-pregnant levels Feb.2 and I started my period Feb.4.

Sorry about your loss... and the nine day period from h*ll, too. But yeah, it's probably pretty normal. A lot of women have a heavier/longer first period after a miscarriage, due to the thick endometrium of pregnancy not being completely shed or removed (if you had a D&C). And some unfortunate women have periods that last this long all the time.

If you're concerned about it (or in serious pain), by all means call up your doctor and ask for their opinion. Ditto if it keeps going on for too much longer. But since your HCG levels are down, it doesn't sound like incomplete miscarriage or any of that bad stuff.

Call your gyno, hon. I'd set up an appointment.
