Global warming. That's funny.
I know that most people get their information on global warming from Hollywood and Al Gore (technical experts in this scientific field....), but I wonder how many people have actually read the Kyoto Protocol issued by the UN that is the basis for this farce.
If you understood the politics and economics behind the global warming industry, you'd understand why it is such a threat to the US - and the threat has nothing to do with tidal waves and temperature increases. People hate the truth, expecially when science fiction is so much more interesting and fun.

If you knew anything about global warming you'd know that it's the average temperature over several decades that's increasing. Of course there will be minor variations. You have to look at the overall picture.

you do know that not a single scientist or politician on the planet debates whether or not global warming exists.. or that it is happening.. they all believe that.. the ONLY debate is whether it is our fault this time or not.. so by all mean, show your ignorance some more.
