I use prophet in the sense of ability to predict the likely flow of future events.
I use guru in the sense of model for humanity
I use mentor as a teacher you would like up close and comfortable

Now the hard bit lol = 1 person.

I would choose my boyfriend.

Not because he's my boyfriend incidentally! Here are the reasons why:

He is scarily intelligent. He is in fact the most intelligent person I've ever come across (this has its advantages but also its disadvantages like I NEVER can win arguments!). He also has an innate ability to read people (again, see disadvantage above) and a learned knowledge, understanding and interest of politics (so he is very able to predict the likely flow of future events).

He also has taught me a lot about myself, what my strengths and weaknesses are, as well as teaching me lots of other things too (hence mentor).

Finally he is one of the most scrupulous people I have ever met. He is diplomatic to a fault but would never do anything bad to anyone. He used to be a university lecturer in Education and his main specialism was getting people into education who wouldn't normally have the social background or encouragement, support and expectation to go into it and improve their prospects (model for humanity).

He truly is the best man alive!

I get my own vote. I can't stand the thought of being steered into how to act, think, what to believe etc by someone else. Once I became a free thinking adult and could make my own decisions, I've pretty much known what's best for me. I don't need a mentor/guru/prophet. I am all of those things to myself.

Few people combat their demons and circulate on, whilst some are no longer waiting to combat it. The latter team of folk exhibit their misery in extremely some types, including bitterness, apathy, interest-searching for, self pity, etc. i'm Atheist, yet i assume such people, despite in the event that they're Christians, in basic terms get extra depressed for the duration of the holiday season. ultimate to depart them to their very own contraptions.
