I bet Cheney was crushed when he heard the truth...

I keep asking and no one answers me to the logic of this calculation...

Why would IRAN, a heavily Shi-itte nation provide weapons for Sunnis to kill primarily Shiittes in Baghdad and therefore help to weaken the position of a predominantly Shi-itte government which is sympathetic to them?

Doesn't make sense does it?

Unless of course if you are a Bush lemming.

He is just softenning America for another pointless war.

What! State your source please. I haven't seen that one.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is questioning the comments made by 3 commanders in Iraq.

"General Pace told reporters in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, that U.S. forces hunting militant networks in Iraq that produced roadside bombs had arrested Iranians and some of the materials used in the devices were made in Iran." - Yahoo news

However at this point he is just being cautious about blaming the Governement of Iran until the evidence is more concrete.

"That does not translate that the Iranian government per se, for sure, is directly involved in doing this," Pace said. "What it does say is that things made in Iran are being used in Iraq to kill coalition soldiers."

How does this clear Iran?

Personally, to say that Iran is NOT behind the bombing, etc in Iraq is ludicrous.. Iran is totally behind the continued unrest there because it is in their TOTAL interest to destroy Iraq so they can conquer it as their own.
